THE LAST JEDI: One Final Surprise for Star Wars Celebration?
Leading up to Star Wars Celebration fans have already been given such delightful news as Hayden Christensen, Mr. I-don't-like-sand himself, returning to Star Wars Celebration, the release of exclusive Star Wars Celebration Funko POP! figurines, the introduction of Benicio del Toro's character plus his role in the film, and possibly even more news about the Han Solo spin-off movie.
Bigger still than all that combined, is the more than likely release of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer.Among a mountain of other tantalizing information, on the latest Star Wars News hosts Andi Gutierrez and Anthony Carboni make special mention of the '40 Years of Star Wars' panel, starting 11 AM on Thursday April 13, stating:
along with more emphasis and extra hints than can be reasonably described in text.
Just in case you missed the quote. And the added emphasis. AND didn't click on the link to watch the actual video, then I'll lay it out for you simply. Star Wars Celebration. 13 April 2017. 11 AM. Live or streaming. STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI TRAILER.
Now, this news is only pertaining to the '40 Years of Star Wars' panel, not to confuse the fact that there will be another panel, dedicated in whole to The Last Jedi, this one taking place 11 AM-12:30 PM on Friday April 14, featuring director Rian Johnson, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and numerous other surprise guests - surprise, they'll most likely be cast members. From the description of the event alone, we know that The Last Jedi panel is already going to be full of surprises to entice fans for the entire weekend.
So that's the '40 Years of Star Wars' panel 11 AM, Thursday April 13 and The Last Jedi panel 11 AM-12:30 PM, Friday April 14. Hold on a minute though. If there's going to be an entire panel dedicated to The Last Jedi then why wouldn't the trailer release then? Most likely for the end result, the impact of kicking off the week with the trailer for the biggest blockbuster of the year. So we know there will be one final surprise to come in Star Wars Celebration. Hopefully it means Rey can finally lower her arm. So what will you do, Luke?
