So, what in the world does the TSA have to do with Star Wars? That question crossed my mind until I was lurking through Star Wars' official twitter feed and found one of the most amazing pictures I've seen in a long time and, with all that's hectic in the world today, it's great to find a governmental agency with a little heart that can still have some fun.

This text actually appears on the TSA's official webpage. I was skeptical when I first saw the picture. Surely that's pre-911! Surely that's from before the current era of having to take everything out of bag and display it to everyone. Where the gun emoji on our phones has been replaced with a water gun! But no! I double checked.

TSA's devotion to the Force is still alive and strong. Whether you're a child fighting the Sith for the first time on your way to Bespin or an adult cosplayer, you can bring your lightsabers with you!

If you're curious, TSA allows you to bring your full nerd gear on board the plane in your checked bag, including your lightsaber, Harry Potter wand, and cake! Unsure why anyone would need a spear thrower though.

May the Force be with you! Make sure to like us on Facebook, subscribe to our newsletter, join in the comments down below, and share this post with all of your friends!
